The tour announcement comes in the wake of the group’s final single, "Then Christ Came". The song was officially released to radio last Friday (8/7) and has already received support from nearly 30 stations, including SiriusXM/The Message, KTIS/Minneapolis, WONU/Chicago, KJNW/Kansas City and WPOZ/Orlando. Then Christ Came was originally scheduled for mercyme’s tenth studio album, Inhale (Exhale), which had been in production for two years. But frontman Bart Millard and co-author David Leonard failed to complete the song in time. However, knowing that it was a special song, the band included a short incomplete demo of the chorus in their latest project. Recently, Millard picked up the lyrics and completed the song with friends Jason Ingram and Phil Wickham.
The award-winning band will bring their new single, as well as many chart hits, straight to the fans on their upcoming "Mercyme Live 2025" tour. It will be the second time that the band will perform as headliner in this iconic place. MercyMe 2025-2024 tickets.
